Karel Stamic (May 7, 1745 - November 9, 1801), who took a German form of his title Karl Stamitz & is okay, better called Carl, was the Bohemian composer. He was a virtually all large of the 2nd generation of the thus-supposed Mannheim school.

Carl was innate inside Mannheim and was first taught music by Johann Stamitz, his father and founder of the Mannheim school. He played in the orchestra at Mannheim from 1762 & inside 1770 moved to Paris where he became known as the fiddler. He late sleep in the total of wharehouses, including Prague and London.

Stamitz wrote ended fifty symphonies and about when numbers of concertos for various instruments, as well as a quantity of chamber music.
